A Comprehensive Financial Plan is perfect for clients who are concerned about their financial future and are just getting started building wealth, but do not require ongoing asset management. During the initial meeting we will help you determine whether this service best suits your needs and goals.
The purpose of designing a financial plan is to:
In most cases, the process requires between three and five meetings from the initial meeting to the final presentation of the comprehensive financial plan. Each financial plan is individually tailored for you. We strive to understand you and your family and customize a comprehensive financial plan that addresses your specific life situation and goals. The objective is to get you from where you are now to where you want to be in the future.
At Bell Financial Planning Co, you will receive a detailed report containing our professional observations and recommendations for improving your personal finances. The report is divided into important areas of your financial life: Cash Flow, Net Worth, Investments, Taxes, Insurance, Retirement, Estate Planning, College Planning and Alternative Scenarios (retire at age 55 instead of 65, work part-time versus full-time, etc). The final report will provide a clear plan on what you need to do to achieve your goals. Depending on our agreement we can manage the implementation of the financial plan.
Who needs a Comprehensive Financial Plan?
Generally speaking, the industry is in agreement that everyone should have a comprehensive financial plan. We take a slightly different stance. We feel that everyone will eventually need a plan, however not everyone currently needs one. We recognize that the investment in a comprehensive financial plan is significant and may not currently be the best use of your money. However, we are confident that for those in need of a financial plan, the return on investment for receiving unbiased, individually tailored financial advice is exponential in the long-term. We will gladly help you determine whether or not a financial plan will best suit your priorities at this time.
